Helping Young Minds Swing For Success

We would like to thank our customers for their support during our campaign with the Wood Family’s Foundation program called Pitch In. We were able to reach our $500 goal and support Chicago area children reach their goals! 

The Wood Family Foundation created Pitch In, a long-term, mentor-based initiative designed to help promising Chicago grade-schoolers bridge the gap into adolescence. Despite the curveballs that may come their way, every child should be given a chance in life, regardless of resources, opportunity or geography.

That’s why the Wood Family Foundation prides itself as an advocate for Chicago area children, providing support not just on a one-time basis, but through long-term relationships with kids and their communities, ensuring the consistency and emotional structure they need to succeed. Involving kids as well as their caretakers, Pitch In will inspire students to achieve independence, set goals and reach milestones.

By choosing to Pitch In, you will help the WFF Mentee Roster reach their full potential. Our goal is to raise $500 to provide students with school and art supplies, healthy afterschool snacks, educational workbooks, and other various materials needed for students to succeed.
